MASS Close Encounters: The Wicker Man

As part of our Close Encounters series and in conjunction with the current exhibition Rotten Little Fruits, MASS will be screening the 1974 horror classic, The Wicker Man.

Just in time for Halloween, this event  is free and open to the public. The screening will be outdoors weather permitting; bring a blanket or fold up chair, BYOB.

Our Current Exhibition Rotten Little Fruits featuring the ‘witchy’ works of Christine Garvey and Bonnie Staley is on view now through October 19th.

About Close Encounters

With each exhibition, MASS solicits artists to devise a program designed to provide new methods of engaging the public’s curiosity, inviting them to participate intellectually or physically with the exhibition space, as well as the artist’s work and concepts. Open and broad, this prompt can be approached in a multitude of ways: performance based, passive, or completely radical in execution or thought, and is designed to provide a new way of encountering and understanding the creative process.
